SpecSeal® SSP Putty is a non-hardening, intumescent compound designed for sealing through-penetrations and certain membrane penetrations against the spread of fire, smoke, and hot gases. Expanding up to eight times its original volume when exposed to high heat, it is soft, pliable, and easy to install by hand. SpecSeal® SSP Putty Pads deliver the same performance in a convenient release-lined pad, perfect for protecting electrical boxes and reducing sound transmission.
