Two skins and a honeycomb
An OSMAX panel is a sandwich: two sheets of aluminium bonded to a core of hexagonal aluminium cells, the same geometry a bee uses to build strong with little material.
The result is a 20 mm panel that stays flat across large spans, resists wind pressure and puts very little dead load on the structure behind it. It can be formed into curves, folds and the twisted units of a decorative fin, and the aluminium is 100% recyclable.
