The SpecSeal® Firestop Block is an intumescent polyurethane foam brick designed for easy firestopping of medium to large openings. Installed by compressing and stacking in a brick-like fashion, it expands under high temperatures to seal against fire, smoke, and gas. Suitable for both temporary and permanent sealing, it allows fast retrofitting without damaging the firestop seal and is approved for use in gypsum board walls, block walls, and concrete floors.
