How it works

Apply
Brush, roller or spray the liquid onto clean glass or frames before the messy trades start.

Work around it
The dry film takes mortar splatter, paint overspray, render, cement and welding flecks instead of your finish.

Peel it off
At handover, peel the film away — or water-jet it off (Eco², XR). No scrubbing, no harsh cleaners.

What is a peelable glass protection coating?
A liquid applied to glass or other non-porous surfaces that dries into a temporary protective film. It shields the surface from site damage and is peeled off when work is complete.
How long can WindowGOOP® XR stay on?
Maximum exposure is 12 months at 100 µm and 18–24 months at 150 µm, per the technical data sheet.
Which Goop works on aluminium frames?
Window Goop® Eco² and WindowGOOP® XR are both listed for powder-coated and anodised aluminium joinery. Window Goop® Original is for glass only.
Will a protected room still get daylight?
Yes with Window Goop® Original, which dries to a translucent film with 82–89% visible light transmission. Blockout Goop® does the opposite and blocks light.
How is it removed?
All four peel off by hand. Eco² and XR can also be removed by water-jet. No solvents or scrubbing are needed.
