Product Description

Rust Grip® is a tough, one-part moisture-cure polyurethane coating engineered for corrosion control, encapsulation, and surface protection.
Loaded with metallic pigment, it provides superior adhesion, flexibility, abrasion resistance, and impact strength. Patented to encapsulate lead-based paints, asbestos, and other hazardous materials, Rust Grip® can be applied directly over flash rust and firmly bonded paints without the need for white blasting.

Packaging

  • Standard Packaging: 1-gallon and 5-gallon pails (net weight ~9.1 lbs/gal).
  • Color: Silver-gray only (metallic finish).
  • Spread Rate: Minimum 12 mils wet / 6 mils dry per coat, depending on profile.
  • Shelf Life: Up to 3 years (unopened, proper storage).
  • VOC: 380 g/L; compliant with many VOC regulations.
