Class 0 acoustic and thermal insulation for HVAC, mechanical and building services
A closed-cell nitrile rubber (NBR) foam that absorbs sound and dampens vibration while insulating against heat loss and condensation. Fibre-free and dust-free, supplied in sheets with a plain, self-adhesive or FSK foil-laminated finish.

Overview
KM W0 NBR Sound Damping Insulation Foam is a closed-cell elastomeric foam produced using advanced “Gel Foaming” Technology. It provides excellent sound absorption while offering superior thermal insulation, fire safety and moisture resistance.
Engineered to be fibre-free, dust-free, anti-bacterial and anti-mildew, it is ideal for HVAC systems, acoustic control and vibration dampening in industrial, commercial and residential settings.

Thermal insulation
Closed cells hold heat in or out of HVAC ducts and piping.
Moisture and frost control
µ ≥ 15,000 vapour resistance helps stop condensation and frost on cold surfaces.

Available finishes
Every finish uses the same Class 0 closed-cell NBR core. Choose the surface to suit how it will be fixed and where it will be seen.
Plain surface
Bare closed-cell foam, for mechanical fixing or bonding with contact adhesive.
Self-adhesive backing
Supplied with an adhesive liner. Peel and press in place.
FSK foil lamination
Foil-scrim-kraft facing laminated to the foam, giving a finished aluminium surface.
